In addition to his role as Girls Director of Coaching. Reece also oversees the SU Goalkeeper Academy, as well coaching the USSDA 2001/2002 team with the Reign Academy.Reece holds the prestigious UEFA “A” coaching license along with the USSF “A” license, a USSF Youth license, an NSCAA Premier Diploma and an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma. Reece is also a long time serving member of the UW soccer staff. Having began coaching in 2005, he is now entering his 12th season on the Huskies sideline. Reece has been part of a UW staff that has lead the program to a national #1 ranking and played in Elite 8 and Sweet 16 play-off games, along with winning the Pac-12 conference championship 2012. During his time at UW he has helped develop many professional players, such as current MLS players Henry Wingo, Spencer Richey, Justin Schmidt and USMNT player Christian Roldan. He has also coached former MLS players George John, Ty Harden, Brent Richards and Mike Chabala, just to name a few. Reece has had a long history in Washington youth soccer working with both Seattle United and Crossfire, leading his 98 ECNL team to 5 consecutive divisional titles, qualifying for play-offs each season and advancing to the national finals in both their U14 and U18 years. The 95 ECNL team achieved the #1 ranking in the country at U18 and qualified for national play-offs. Reece also coached the Seattle United 92 girls team to numerous state championships and regional championship berths. These 3 teams combined had 13 players represent youth national teams and every player graduate onto college soccer teams. Reece has worked with youth national teams on both the men’s and women’s programs. He has held the role as Assistant Director for the Region IV Olympic Development Program, as well as the State of Washington EDP. Reece has served as a NSCAA national staff instructor and also the NSCAA Technical Director for Washington. Reece and his wife Brooke reside in Woodinville, Washington with their daughter’s Jazzy and Charlie.
