Malia Morgan and Ezana Hagos Travel To Lyon and Ajax, Respectively

Seattle United will have two representatives as the Generation Adidas National Select teams take the field in Europe beginning this weekend.  Malia Morgan (currently with the Seattle Reign Academy) and Ezana Hagos will travel to Lyon, France and A.F.C. Ajax, respectively.

When reached for comment, Malia said of the opportunity, “I am so excited to have been selected for the Generation Adidas program in Lyon, France.  Being a part of Seattle United has played a huge role in who I am on and off the field today.  By starting premier level soccer with Seattle United at a young age, I was exposed to a very high level of play in every training session with my talented teammates.  My coaches at SU – Zahra Lechak, David Griffiths, Jason Farrell and Tim Reynolds – always pushed me to improve my technical and tactical abilities, as well as being a leader on and off the field.  I’ve learned so much from my incredible coaches and teammates here at Seattle United, and I wouldn’t be here – preparing to train with the Olympique Lyonnais Academy – if it weren’t for the support and experience I received from playing with SU.”
