Dear Seattle United Families, On behalf of our newly elected board for the 2017/2018 season, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your commitment and dedication every week, hit a few highlights, and invite you to join us to contribute your ideas and skills in any way you can. No experience necessary! Thank you! Thanks for all you do every week, year round, to make this Club successful. It’s a true team effort all around. Laundry, driving, carpool management, calendar management, team tents, team benches, team managers, and so much more. It’s all appreciated. We’d Love to Hear from You! I know we have a lot of club members out there with great ideas and untapped skills. I would love to hear from all of you, especially those of you who have not volunteered before. We have ways you can contribute just a few hours or a few years! Thanks to those who have volunteered in the past. I think the club does a great job, but we are always open to hearing any suggestions you have. Please contact me at [email protected], or Kevin Long, Executive Director, [email protected]. Contribute Financially • If you are short on time, but still want to help, financial contributions are always welcome. Community Building As we mature as a soccer club, we are working to build and celebrate the Seattle United community. • First Annual Seattle United Picnic in August 2017 – We had great turnout and look forward to that becoming a fun annual tradition for everyone to join in on. It was a terrific chance for us to say thank you to all of our families. Board Members • Additional Board members include Chris Tessin (VP and Treasurer), Amy Marsh (Secretary), Paul Merz, Kelly Mullins, Parker Mason, Stephanie Yurcisin, Tisha Pagalilauan, Michael Pickett, Mike Fitzpatrick, Phil Herold, and Ryan Woodland. Thanks again for all you do, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Best, Amy GaffneyWelcome Message From New Board President
