Jasmin Ayala, Seattle United’s Athletic Trainer, was born and raised in Southern California until the age 12 where she played club soccer for Eclipse until she moved to Spokane, WA. There Jasmin played and lettered in numerous high school sports including basketball, track & field, and cross country. After high school, Jasmin played collegiate soccer at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, winning Conference Championships all four years, All-Conference First Team & Honorable Mention, All-American First Team & Honorable Mention, Female Athlete of the Year Award, as well as a National Championship, MVP Award and All-Tournament Team at the National Tournament. After graduating, she volunteered coached for HS Girls Westside Timbers in Oregon and played semi-professional soccer for 3 years.
At Concordia University, Jasmin graduated with a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science with focuses in Athletic Training and Strength & Conditioning. After obtaining her B.A., she traveled to Massachusetts for her M.S. in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University. During those two years, she had a variety of internships at high schools, colleges, sports injury prevention clinics, and FC Dallas. Jasmin returned to the Pacific Northwest with a certification in Athletic Training and worked with the Seattle Reign Academy before coming on with Seattle United.
