Seattle United FC Welcomed as Newest Boys Elite Club National League (ECNL) Member Club
Seattle United Among Six Prominent Puget Sound Soccer Clubs to Join Boys ECNL Northwest Conference for the 2019-2020 Season
March 20, 2019 – Seattle, WA – Seattle United FC is pleased to announce its acceptance into the Boys Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for the 2019-2020 season. The Boys ECNL was formed to provide a top level, club-based development, training, and competition platform for youth male soccer players, with conference competition in five age groups (U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18/19) and collegiate exposure through multiple Boys ECNL National Events. In addition to the competition platform, the Boys ECNL offers player identification and development opportunities for top players, as well as unique coaching education and club development programs.
Specifically, the Seattle United Boys ECNL program will span across the U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18/19 age groups, with U13 considered as a pre-ECNL team. There will be one ECNL team per age group. Seattle United will compete in the newly-formed Northwest Conference within the Boys ECNL league beginning in August 2019.

We believe this is the right platform for our boys’ teams that will provide both high level competition and college exposure for our elite players,” said Jimmy McAlister, Seattle United Director of Soccer. “We are excited and honored to be affiliated with the Boys ECNL, which has a high rate of players moving on to play at the collegiate level. We look forward to this wonderful opportunity and additional programming at Seattle United.”
Seattle United will be hosting a Boys ECNL Information Night that is open to all families on March 28th 2019 at the following times and location:
