High School Seniors College Update (10/15)

This document is for all high school seniors and is a reminder and or to-do list for the college application process. All college applications are open, and the sooner you can apply, the better. Also, The FAFSA form is available, should be submitted by the end of the month. FAFSA is often limited and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The earlier you submit your applications and file FAFSA, the better.

Filing early-action to colleges that have the option to do so is preferred. You can apply early action to as many colleges as you want.

The Common Application serves over 850 colleges.  https://apply.commonapp.org/login

The Coalition Application serves many colleges, including UW. https://www.coalitionforcollegeaccess.org/

The application deadline for the University of Washington is November 15^th.

California State Schools – The deadline is 12/4. https://www2.calstate.edu/apply/pages/default.aspx

University of California Schools – The deadline is 11/30. https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply-now.html

Seattle Promise Program – Free two-year education for Seattle Public school students who qualify. https://www.seattlecolleges.edu/promise/about
