SEATTLE UNITED’S FALL 2020 FUNDRAISER: UNITED FOR AID
A founding ethos of Seattle United is that the ability to pay will never be a barrier to play at the club. This has been demonstrated for over ten years now, as no qualified aid applicant has ever been turned away. Further, we increased our aid commitment over the years by providing at 100% team fee subsidies for all aid players.
The commitment to providing equitable access to play does not come without a cost, and our members have matched that commitment step for step with us. Funds raised through your participation in our raffle-replacement fundraiser, United For Aid, will allow you to directly help level the playing field for all low-income, under-served families at Seattle United. Please join us and make a difference!
WHY PARTICIPATE?
Because if you care about equity and the power of youth sports, United For Aid is an excellent opportunity for you and your network to literally make a difference in a child’s life.

THIS FUNDRAISER IS DRIVEN BY YOU!
Each player and family can decide how they wish to participate. Each family gets to choose who to share the club’s message with (extended family? Close friends? Everyone you know?), and how to share that message (using your family’s electronic inbox to generate an appeal letter, posting and sharing on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and/or Instagram). We are excited to spread the club’s message of inclusion, and hope you are as well. Without the limitations of a traditional raffle, with its in-person exchange of funds and tickets, we know that our members’ reach is greatly increased. Our donors can be as close as your own neighborhoods, but can also now include family and friends now far across the country!
PRIZES
First 1000 players to raise $50 will earn a custom Seattle United mask!
First 500 players to raise $150 will earn a custom Seattle United beanie (right in time for the colder, wetter training sessions in the winter months!)
Raise $1000 and receive a $150 Soccer.com Gift Card (order a new stadium jacket!)
Contests to become eligible for a $500 Apple gift card!
Contests to become eligible for a RAD bike!
Top two fundraising girls and top two boys will win club tuition for next season!
Individual fundraiser with the highest number of individual donations will win club tuition for next season!
Top two teams will win $1000 cash prize for their team!
Top fundraising team will be eligible to play a match against the Seattle United Directors, date to be determined!
