Anti-Racism 101 Training
Seattle United Coaching Staff, Office Staff, Board Members,
As club Community Outreach Director and on behalf of our club’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, it is my pleasure to invite all of you to a night of open dialogue and education regarding antiracism, diversity, inclusion, equity, and good sportsmanship.
As you all know, Antiracism, diversity, inclusion, equity, and good sportsmanship are among the many core values that have defined Seattle United for the past decade. We are both humbled by and proud of the myriad of cultures, races, faiths, genders and other social communities represented within our club. It is in this way that we are UNITED. We are all honored to be a part of such a positive and successful club and are committed to keep moving forward in an upward trajectory.
On Monday (2/22), we will be hosting an Anti-Racism 101 90-minutes training including Q&A for office staff, coaches and board members. All coaching directors are expecting participation from their coaches, and we are humbled and excited to hold another event to further strengthen our community.
We think it is important to come together in a consistent manner to have a dialogue that revolves around our core beliefs, and we are confident that this workshop will move us forward in that goal. We look forward to your participation in this important club event!
Sincerely,
Carlos Enriquez and SU Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
