Seattle United 2021 Board of Directors Election

Seattle United will hold elections for its governing Board of Directors, to be confirmed at its Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) on October 18, 2021.

Slate of Candidates. In our September “Ways to Engage with the Club” newsletter, we published a request for volunteers interested in serving on the Board. In accordance with Club’s bylaws, the Board’s Governance Committee has recommended a slate of candidates for the five (5) open positions, listed below.

The nominees for elected board positions, as nominated by the Governance Committee, are:

Suzanne Dale Estey

Michael Pickett

Stephanie B. Yurcisin

You can find candidate statements below.  The election will run from October 4-18.  On October 18, the Election Committee will certify the voting results.

On October 18, the election of newly elected board members will be announced at the Seattle United 2020 Annual General Meeting, this year held via Zoom conference; a link to the call will be posted to the club’s web site.  The meeting will commence at 7:00 PM.

The voting process will be supervised by an Election Sub-Committee established by the Board.  Neither members of the Governance Committee nor individuals standing for election may serve on this committee.
