SEATTLE UNITED TO JOIN THE ECNL REGIONAL LEAGUE – NORTHWEST PACIFIC
FOR THE 2021-2022 SEASON
SEATTLE, Wash. – April 30, 2021 – Seattle United is excited to announce its participation in the ECNL Regional League – Northwest Pacific for the upcoming 2021-2022 season.
The ECNL Regional League – Northwest Pacific will feature divisional competition and a robust regular season schedule for all clubs participating in the U15-U18/19 age groups. Seattle United U15, U16 and U17 Copa teams will play single round ECNL divisional games playing each Northwest Pacific Regional League member club, while continuing to play in the Regional Club League (RCL) with eligibility to participate in Washington State Cup.
The U18/19 Composite League will now be called the ECNL Regional League to follow the nomenclature of the other age groups that have expanded into the new Regional League. The Boys and Girls U19 age group will play a full 14-game ECNL league schedule with home and away games against the other ECNL Regional League clubs, culminating with an ECNL Regional League national event showcase. U18/19 Regional teams will also be eligible to compete in the ECNL Regional League post season if qualified, in addition to the ECNL Regional League national showcase.
The eight clubs participating in the ECNL Girls Regional League – Northwest Pacific are:
- Crossfire Premier
- Crossfire United (OR)
- Eastside FC
- Pacific Northwest Soccer Club
- Portland Thorns (OR)
- Seattle United
- Snohomish United (ECNL Regional League status only)
- Washington Premier
The eight clubs participating in the ECNL Boys Regional League – Northwest Pacific are:
- Crossfire Premier
- Eastside FC
- Pacific Northwest Soccer Club
- Seattle United
- Snohomish United
- Spokane Sounders
- Washington Premier
- Washington Timbers
